as a performer, i have expectations of how the audience would react, yet, no one can ever teach an audience "how to be an audience" but through the exposure and experiences they have been through themselves...
a great performance i would say, bravo to the final year students in Uda & Dara. but it was god DAMN annoying when your friends kept calling your name as you perform.
1. Although as a performer you'd ignore and be in "your own world", but being an audience(me)sitting behind that idiot is !@#$%^&*(!!!!!!!!!!!
2. worse is when people started to whisper to their friends and as more and more people join the 'whispering conversation', all you can hear in the theater was "shhssss....hahaha....sssspppppsss...hahah.....sssppppppxxxxxxx...."
3. how typical an audience can be for that's what genre of 'entertainment' he/she had been exposed to. Hence the expectations have no varieties, same goes to reaction.
4. if you can accept intimacy from TV, why can't you accept it on stage? what's the difference?!?!
Ben says we are blinded by what the "majority" says and portrays. But i say we are rather "blind-folded", it is up to you whether you want to lift your blind fold and look at the world, whether it is from a different angle or from a different perspective.
Expose yourself to the beauty of sunlight, not hide yourself within the darkness.
