Apologies sometimes is meant not just for the person you are saying sorry to, but the person that is saying it.
More often than not, the one person we couldn't forgive, or rather forgotten to forgive, is ourselves.
And most of the time, something this genuine, requires a lot of courage and determination to mean what you say.
I did, and done it. I stuttered. But I did it.
I thought it had died, so long ago, but the fact is the other way round.
I still feel the pain, I'd still have tears bursting through my eyes.
But I'm glad I did, because it proved that I'm still alive to be feeling what I'm feeling.
I'm feeling alive.
